Speaking of winter and scrapping ...

Kristi of Designz by Kristi has a new kit for sale at Sunshine Studios and it's called Gentle Frost.

Personally I'm tired of frost and snow, but this kit would be great for scrapping all my photos! I really like the glittery border the metallic string and the twig wreath. That icicle border is pretty cool too. This kit would also be great for scrapping baby photos or girly photos, it has all the soft colours suitable for those.

You can stop by the Sunshine Studios Shop and buy it here:

Oh yeah!

Mason had his 100 days of school celebration last week (on my Dad's birthday, Happy birthday Dad!) and he dressed up as a 100 year old man. He wore a grey wig, borrowed Graham's Indiana Jones hat, an old clip-on work tie of mine, and had an old schoolbook reader of the Dick and Jane variety. He won an "award" for an "Awesome '100th day' costume!" so he was pretty excited about that.

Here he is:

Last week Mason won the hard hat for being the hardest working player on the hockey team. Look how proud and excited he is! Which you could see better, had I fixed the photo first. ;o)

And, the elusive Graham:

Two months!

That's how long it's been since I've been here. Yikes! I knew it was a while but I didn't think it was that long!

Well, since that time, Mason has won his Christmas Break hockey tournament, turned 7 and lost another tooth! Really he's not losing them, so much as he is working at them so hard they are easier for him to pull out.

My sister and I are in the Amazing Digital Scrapping Race, and so I've been doing a lot of scrapping for that. One of my new favourite layouts is from that race, and it's using a product of Flergs' called Troublemaker that I found at http://www.thedailydigi.com/ It was in a grab bag and I think the bag had some pretty nice things in it, as well as a couple of things I will likely never use.

Here is the layout, it's a Lift and Twist of my sister's layout, I'll post that after my layout.

Then, I decided I liked that so much I wanted to print it out and glue it to an old CD, put a sealer on it and use it to put my drinks on! LOL So far, I've gone so far as to print it out. I made one of Walker too, now I just have to finish the one of Graham and make one of Ty and I'm all set. Well, then I have to actually glue them on and seal them. That shouldn't take too long.

What's up with Graham, you ask? Well, he continues to dress in his Spiderman cosutme on an almost daily basis and tomorrow he registers for Junior Kindergarten! Eeek! Where did the time go? I'm super excited about it because I'll save loads of money on daycare fees. :o)

Mason has been collecting hockey cards lately and I've been trying to take pictures of everyone on his hockey team to make him some hockey cards of them. It's tough to get good pictures because they move kind of fast! I'm trying to get the backs of them so I know who they are, and so their numbers and names show on the jersey. If I manage to get everyone done before March, I'll give everyone a card of their kid.

Oh yeah, Graham will be playing soccer this year! Woo! He's super excited. Mason will be playing again too, and probably playing baseball and maaaaaaybe a spring league of hockey which thankfully is only 2 months before baseball and soccer start (yikes, he's only 7 this just the beginning!!). I feel bad that Graham isn't old enough to play too many sports, but now at least Mason will have to sit and watch him for a change!

That's about it from here. It's finally warmed up a bit and the snow is melting. I hope it's a trend that continues!
